Shamrock Plank Flooring also provides a limited amount of Rustic grade flooring. This grade allows all the natural characteristics not included in Shamrock’s Premium and Natural grades. These include: larger knots, small holes, mineral streaks and color variations. The Rustic grade also tends to have a shorter average length. All the imperfections in this grade of plank flooring add to the beauty of a floor, but do not weaken the integrity of the product. Only a limited amount of such highly sought, specialty product is available because it is a true accumulation grade.
This grade is perfect for flooring needs of a utility nature. It can be used in taverns, hunting lodges and mudrooms that will incur a high level of stress to the floor. Other applications are the use of Rustic grade to remodel an old cabin or lake house keeping with its aged and weathered spirit. With Shamrock’s Rustic grade, the flowing will be unique and rich with the individuality only hardwood can provide.
